The Call of the Road

You may be wondering about how on earth a guy like me managed to make it this far.

Hell, I don’t blame you if you don’t believe what I’ve told you.

I’ll answer your question.

In fact, I’m going to tell you how its actually done.

I’ll tell you the secret I’ve found.

It may be a secret you already know.

You find a reason.

The world around you will provide you many reasons.

All you really need is one.

Everything else that stands in your way be damned.

You put all your faith in it.

At times you’ll  also wind up doubting yourself about  it.

It is perfectly normal to be skeptical about such things.

If the reason comes from within the heart, it can only be true.

If the reason comes from deep within the soul, it can never be wrong.

The world may oppose what it is you believe in.

The world may at times hate you for what you are.

It may loathe and despise you for all that you have done.

It may threaten to harm you and destroy you in the process.

Against all odds you must face that world alone.

It can be a truly frightening place the world you find.

There is an incredible amount of danger so be cautious.

There are many dangers that lurk from the dark horizon.

You must learn to quickly adapt and adjust to it.

Remember your true face.

Believe me, if your heart is just to your cause, you will triumph.

You will likely face a great many obstacles throughout the course of your journey.

Do not be ashamed to rest yet do not stall for long.

If left unattended, the road becomes distant and far away.

Do not be dismayed by this.

You will find your way again in time.

The only truth you will discover to anything is the one you create for yourself.

It is your integrity that must be resolute.

You must not compromise against your beliefs.

The thoughts that surround your head will be immediate and focused.

You will learn to see the world from within the heart and not from the eyes.

You will learn quickly to love and despise its many qualities and flaws.

Learn only to live.

Occasionally you will find others that will help you in your quest.

Others may attempt corrupt the purpose you have.

You must not block them out entirely.

The road is one you must face alone.

It can be a terribly lonely place to find yourself at times.

Remember only the memories of those that have appeared before you.

You must take what is given and that must be enough.

More importantly you must learn to return tenfold despite what little you may have.

You must remember that you are loved.

Your friends and family will love you.

I love you.

You are not alone.

The road is calling.
